Number 21

Today is our 21st anniversary as husband & wife. My wife is a gem. She almost decided at our first meeting, a blind date, to just let me go my way, but thankfully, changed her mind at the last! I was away from the Lord at the time, though in seminary, & she helped me draw back into fellowship with Him. Thank the Lord for a good, Godly wife. May the Lord bless you all.

Bro. David, and your Sweet Wife,

Congratulations to both of you.

What a blessing to have a believing, committed wife as a companion and support.

Keep up the good work to see the lost come to Christ.

In Christ eternally,

ExP(Jack)

Praise the Lord and congradulations to you and your wife brother. Wow! My wife met on a blind date as well. She is precious to me. We both have been stumbling birds wanting to fly but not always growing and sometimes to knowing and not wanting to wait on God and God has been very patient. Praise his name that both of us will be going on a very busy missions trip in June together and that we are growing together and I desire so much that our intimacy be closer in HIm each day together. May it continue to be so for you and your wife. This is a very encouraging post.

Grace upon grace,

Brian

Bro. Jack,

Yo always find a way to be a blessing & I appreciate you. Thank you for posting.

Bro. Bria, i can say the same about you as I did bro. Jack. We will pray for your wife & yourself as you go on that missions trip.

To all,

We just came back from a great vacation in KY, & TN. While in KY, just below Cincinnati, there is a great museum dedicated to the defending of Genesis account of Creation called appropriately enough the Creation Museum. It is sponsored by Answers in Genesis & Ken Ham. Awesome! You must try it out if you are in the area. They have been in operation just shy of a year & have already seen 450,000 people go through it! Praise the Lord!

Thats great to hear about your trip David. Our neighbor and fellow family member in Christ from our church just went there for vacation and has returned. My pastor will be going there as well soon. So great to hear of your time.

BTW,

Todays devotional was a blessing today. Something just really reached out and struck me today about trusting in God as you mentioned Abrahams active faith and Isaacs passive faith as he lay down under the knife fully trusting in God. He is faithful and we can indeed trust our Lord even when things dont make any sense at all and the future seem bleak with death in the wings. God is with us.

Grace upon grace,

Brian

Thank you bro. Brian for using the gift of encouragement God has obviously gifted you with. You know, the Lord has really blessed me to be able to share the truths from the Word of God. That thought about passive & active faith just "hit" me & I had to share it, & I am so thankful the Lord used it. God Bless you brother.
