Psalm 107
"For He satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness." v.9. How true this is! This entire Psalm is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. I can certainly remember the emptiness of being lost & how the Lord has often made the truth of this verse a reality in my own life. Of course I know that I am saved whether I sense His presence or not, but this truth is so sweet that I just had to share it with my blog brothers & sisters! Any comments? God Bless.

Amen Bro. David,
That verse should be very special to believers in Christ.
It should likewise be an incentive for the lost to investigate trusting Christ alone as their Savior.
In Christ eternally,
ExP(Jack)
Thank you bro. Jack.
You said, "It should likewise be an incentive for the lost to investigate trusting Christ alone as their Savior." What a great point! God Bless you!

Amen. The Lord is good.
Amen bro. Brian, He certainly is.
It seems like I read somewhere in the Psalms that a mans greatest treasure is his wife, she is a gift from God. Is that Psalms or Proverbs?
I just did a post in honor of my mother and my wife. I am so thankful for both of these women that God is using in my life to draw me closer to Himself.
May you be blessed this mothers day. I am so blessed by your love for your wife as well. May God pour out his bounty of blessings upon your family life and keep you close in communion with Himself and in union with your wife. You are a dear and precious brother in the Lord.
Grace upon grace
Bro. Brian,
Thank you for the blessing this post is to me. Also your friendship in the Lord. I well remember when the Lord brought my dear wife into my life! I was actually away from the Lord at the time, but she was longsuffering with me & helped me back to a closer walk with Him. I will always be thankful. He has blessed me with a good mother as well. Thanks for your kindness bro. Brian. May the Lord bless you as well.
Sherwood Baptist Church(the maker of the movie flywheel and facing the giants) is coming out with another movie about the struggle of putting loving our wives as Christ loved the Church soon. It is called Fireproof. May the Lord use the message to grip all of our hearts of the importance of loving our wives the way God loves them.
Grace upon grace,
Brian
That sounds like a great movie bro. Brian. Thank you!
